Our Statement Of Faith

We believe in the Trinity—God the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit; Creator of the Universe and all things.

.   We believe in the authority, infallibility and inerrancy of the Bible, God’s special revelation to us in which we find knowledge and righteousness of God and His will for us.

.   We believe in Christ’s deity, His Virgin birth and His earthly ministry. He was fully man and fully Divine, God Himself. We believe that, according to Scriptures, He lived a sinless life through His submission and obedience to His Father.

.   We believe in the fallen sinful and lost condition of all people that everyone has sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

The Salvation of all is through the atoning death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ who reconciled us to the Father. He is the only Way to the Father and there is no other way we can gain eternal life other than through Him. He arose from the dead; in that glorified body and ascended into heaven where He is now at God’s right hand. He is above all rule, all authority, all power and dominion. He is our Mediator and Advocate our Saviour Lord and King. His resurrection proves that God has power over death and everything, an assurance that those who believed in Him when they died will rise again in the last day.

.   We believe in the Holy Spirit of God, our Comforter and Helper. He regenerates people to be born again and sanctified for God’s Kingdom. He gave His gifts to the church to glorify Christ and to help Christians to live victorious lives to the glory of His name.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of all believers.

We celebrate the two ordinances of our Lord namely Baptism and the Lord’s Supper which are of perpetual obligation. Baptism is the immersion of believers upon the profession of their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and a symbol of the fellowship of the regenerate in His death, burial and resurrection. It is a sign of a new life born again in God. The Lord’s Supper is the celebration of our freedom from sin by the atoning sacrifice of the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and look forward to the day when He returns.

.   We believe Jesus will return to take all who believe in Him to be with Him forever. The judgment day will reveal the destiny of those who believed in Christ and those who did not.

.   Therefore, we strongly believe in the preaching and the teaching of the gospel in which people will hear and respond to the love of God in Christ to have eternal life.
